EXAMS ARE OVER!!!!

Wasn't such a tough one, despite this semester being one of my laziest. Details? Nope.

The days BEFORE the exam, Part 1.

After spending almost everyday nerding at the library till 8 p.m., the thrill of exams is... gone. I can't believe it. GONE. Just like that. Didn't feel scared at all, no panic attacks, no stress, nope.

Still, life was on repeat mode during those few days.

Wake up at 8 something, catch the bus to Wangsa, go to Kin Wai's house, breakfast at Jie Jie, study, random lunch break at god knows where, study, dinner at Jie Jie, back to hostels and sleep.

Glad that's finally over!

Chocolate Was In The Air... - 09.01.10

Straight up, Mid Valley's Chocolate Fair was a huge letdown. ZOMFG disappointing! I don't think I've ever felt so let down by chocolate, the sweet indulgence it is, ugh.

The day before, I came up with a fantabulous plan: TAKE AS MANY PHOTOS AS WE CAN, TILL THE CAMERA RUNS OUT OF BATTERIES.

Manatau, the whole thing was so stupid and so boring that we took less than 20 photos that day, seriously. It was THAT boring, believe that.

Rest of the day was spent (literally) treating everyone to good food.

Two cinnamon rolls for the 6 of us, all under my contribution. Huhu

FYI, Saint Cinnamon's Cinnamon Rolls are GOOD. They're like... even better than Cinnabon's or whatever other brand you have in mind. Plus, they're cheap, so how could we not?

Then, Kok Jun treated us all to Auntie Anne's Pretzels - sour cream is the bomb! Fun fact: I've never had an Auntie Anne's before, even when my mom has had one.

The shirts read "When I grow up, I want to be an ENGINEER." So suitable for us! If only they came in 18-year-old sizes.

For the record, I'm quite tall in my class, even though I'm considered dwarven in Subang. Screwed up growth spurt screwed me along with it. Peggy says it's a lack of sleep during my teenage years.

OH WTF I'M STILL A TEENAGER LAAH! I vow to sleep early from now on, ok? See if that adds up another 10 cm.

What a great way to kickstart the new year! In the library, STUDYING. Exams are like less than 2 weeks away. Am I prepared?

Shit hell no.

I've neglected this sem. Not because I'm lazy ok! It's because the lecturers aren't helping much, and the subjects are tough! Insanity! This is me speaking in exclamations because I'm so stressed just thinking about exams!

Doing the math, I realized I've like 2 more days to cover each subject. Okay la. Do-able.

So it's time to open up my books, except the one that has a Face- in front of it.

AWESOMEEARTHSHAKINGSUPERBCRAZYSHIT.

The animations put Transformers to shame (BOOOO!), especially the wars between the Na'vi and the humans. Gobsmacking.

The storyline? Good enough, although I could've sworn I saw it on some Chinese drama. There wasn't much jokes, too, but when one did crack up, it's guaranteed to make you laugh.

What's it about, just go watch it youself, I seriously recommend it like I've never recommended any other movie. And you may just find yourself going "alalalalalalalalalalalaalala!!!!". Again, just watch the frickin' movie.

Cinemas rated the movie 13PG, but I'll give it an awesome 9/10. It really deserves it!

On Wednesday, there was a shit heehhll long line, and I couldn't see what the hold-up was all about. Samson (FYI, the tallest) told me what it was. I couldn't hear, and he told me to see for myself.

But how can I see what's at the front of the line, when......

Wednesday, Choy Leng brought chocolates for us. Wheeee!!! In Christmas spirits already. But don't you think it's good practice to see the expiry dates before you eat/buy them? :P

First time I've seen chocolates kept beyond expiry dates. It's never happened to me before. Whenever I get chocolates, it's usually in the toilet in... 1 day. Yep.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I gladly declare eating as my passion! Yeah, I rock.

Anyway, to celebrate, DMT2 decided to have a present exchange thing. Everyone gave a gift worth around 10 bucks, so all was fair. The simple thing to do was to get foodstuff, but I wanted better. Not that smart a move, though.

Though I keep telling myself it's the heart that counts, not the present (and definitely not the wrapping paper), DAMN CHEAP LAAH WE ALL! See the wrapping paper? They're newspaper. Spot the one with the foolscap paper, too.

Mine? Hohoho. I'm not gonna show the "wrapping paper" I used.

Along the way, shit happened (yes Kin Wai, there is this phrase). Awkward. I piss you off and you piss me off kinda thing. But it's okay, we get over these things.

What a joke, haha.

Look, I know I said the present doesn't matter. But I've got this obsessive compulsive thinking that I have to get a good present. And indeed, it was good. At least, it was for a few people I was targeting.

Waited, waited and waited to see who'd got my present, but the heavens demanded more suspense, and.... wait for it....

IT GOT INTO THE WRONG HANDS.

I felt my head drop off after that. Ugh, so suey. Could tell the recipient was not so happy with my present. That triggered the emotions out of me.

Today is Christmas eve *jingles bells*. And I was so desperate for a plan! You can't expect me to glue my ass at home on Christmas eve! Samson wanted to go to Sungei Wang to get his anata (inside joke, guys), and so, 4 sesat people decided to join him.

Dinner was at some random restaurant at the bottom of Times Square.

The soup was orgasmic. First sip = heaven! I crazily love anything honeydew flavored,but I hate the fruit like mad.

And trust me, the mee was good! And this's coming from someone who never liked wantan mee to begin with, mind you.

Long story short, Samson failed in his anata quest, so we wanted to watch Avatar. 3D some more. Samson led the way to some ulu cinema many people (even I) didn't hear of, somewhere on the top floors of Times Square. I've never went that high before, and I seriously never knew about a food court in Times Square, wth.

It's like we bought the whole mall for ourselves, and we were free to scream like idiots if we wanted to. Niiiiiice!

Okay, zombie apocalypse, I'm ready.

Manatau, the cinema was closed. Pfft. What kinda cinema closes at 11 on Christmas eve? Freaks. So we made a last ditch attempt, and went all the way back down again. Tickets were still available when we made it to the queue, but when we reached the counter (seriously reached it) , the cashier told us:

"Sorry, full already."

WTF!!!!!! We wait for half an hour, and there's no tickets. Dammit!!!!

So fine, when we can't watch a movie, what can we do? Imitate.

And still none of us wanted to waste the day, so we ended up playing bowling. Fun times, I swear.

What do you do when this happens?

You'll never guess what we tried. ;)

Called it a day before 12, mainly because Samson had to go to church early the next day. Fought through the crowd, got sprayed in the face a fair few times, and finally, the bus! Packed beyond packing point, though. Literally didn't have room to move.

Ended the night with a drink at BRJ, sirap bandung and Don't Mess With The Zohan before going back to Subang at... 2 in the morning.

Okay. I'm poofed. You can so imagine.

Guo Dong (I think that's the pinyin) is a Chinese festival where everyone goes back to their hometowns, and eats glutinous rice balls called Tong Yun. Yummy!

But with exams that close from our faces, me and the coursemates can't possibly go back home. So it all started with a random idea "Eh, Tuesday we make tong yun!". Everyone instantly agreed.

PREP: Rice flour. Sugar. Pandan leaves. Ginger.

And yeeeeeap, all set.

Let me be clear that we are all extreme noobs at making tong yun. ZERO EXPERIENCE. And so someone started off the day with searching for instructions on the Internet, which, IMHO, came in more of a hindrance than help.

Peggy repeatedly called her mom for advice (much better than what that someone gave). You should've seen her phone literally covered in flour when she was done!!! Haha.

Sam came to help for a liiiiiiiiiiitle while. Just to finish up his own masterpiece.

All seemed well when it came out of the pot. But I don't think it was when he spat the giant out. =P

Meanwhile, two chefs backstage helped make the sugar water.

And yeah, yeah. I like to be clean. I peeled the ginger skin off. Cut it into slices.

But nooooo, all I got was how stupid I am, that ginger skins should be kept on, and cutting it into slices would reduce the taste. Not once, mind you - REPEATEDLY.

Oh well. The result of our hard work?

It didnt taste like tong yun to me. It tasted like ginger ale. No. Make that worse than ginger ale. Ugh. One bite and I didn't want anymore.

Never mind that.

My coursemates are like this... big group. We do things for each other, copy each other's answers *ahem*, eat together, do most stuff together. Naturally, we'd make some for those who weren't there. And while we were at it, why not play a game? It's called.... the Balls Of Fortune.

Diiiiiiiisgusting name, but screw it!

It's where we stuff some secret ingredients into the balls, and if you're lucky, you get a mouthful of heaven, with the gula melaka bursting out. BUT!!!!!

LMAO. Laughed so hard thinking of the expressions on those poor faces the next day.

Also, Hazel requested for some coffee flavoured ones (WTF?). Weird combination,,really. And you know what's the weirdest of it?

THE COLOR. *jeng jeng!*

Two words : Uber weirdness. Didn't exactly taste like coffee in the end. But as long as laughter is in the process, I will be satisfied. :-)

Cleaned up, and spent the night at Kok Jun's house, where I was totally, TOTALLY unprepared for any overnight slumber parties. No towel, no toothbrush, no spare clothes! Imagine having to use your shirt as a towel. What was more?

My shirt's not the absorbent kind laaaah.

In the end, Jun borrowed me another shirt. Funnily, his shirts smell like mine. Hehe. Not the smelly kind of smell okay, but the... er.... warm (?!?!?!) kind of smell. Can't find the words to describe it.

Smelling is believing!

Had another dose of laughter with his roomate.

Roomie: "Not fun laah, this boy knows Mandarin... Cantonese lerh?" (in Mandarin)
Kok Jun, Me : "Yeah, can."
Roomie: "Hokkien lerh?"
Me : "Crap."
Kok Jun : "Oh, that one then cannot! *lol*"

And they proceeded to talk in Hokkien. To hell with my banana status, seriously.

Those of you who're not in TARC, ProDEx is just over! Those who're involved can finally say goodbye to the stresses, final year projects, and empty crowds.

Sigh. Diverge a bit. Even when I want to talk, I personally find it very hard to blog when:

a) there's nothing to talk about, or worse still,

b) I can't remember anything because - yes, people - I procrastinate and delay my posts.

That's how much of a memory I have. Could I be suffering from an early form of amnesia? Shit.

But here's one thing I DO recall. I can't remember the last time I went on stage in front of a crowd, but last Saturday was the best. THE BEST!!!! No stress, only thrills. And the crowd was good sport, too.

I'll admit it, I was afraid no one was gonna participate in the games. I'd be talking to the wall, ugh.

And I was on the Materials and Manufacturing Engineering notice board! (It's Campus Day for my college at the same time, see). An asscracked tiny picture of me, looking smart in semi-formal, hair done up and stuff. Why couldn't the college've made it bigger?!?!?!? Boo.

It's quite a pity my lecturer doesn't read my blog. Because if he did...

Seniors made these door gifts. Plastic stuff, you know. But what was totally screwed up was people kept sniffing them; one even bit them. The most classic one was when we offered one to the guard, and he told us, "Wah, tak nak lah, I dah kenyang ni."

Makes me wonder if Engineering really is my cup of ~~tea~~ coffee, or did I just make a huge pig-headed mistake.

SHOCKING.

How my lecturer didn't exactly find my presentation good. Not that I'm trynna brag, but that's the first time my presentation isn't good enough! Oh well, there's always a first for everything, yes.

Anyway, after presentation stress was finally lifted, it's time to celebrate! And what better place to spend money like mad, eat like a pig, and get lost than Connaught's pasar malam?

Thank god it's normal school holidays (notice I used the word normal), so Kok Hoe's van is available. Dropped off at Wangsa first, mainly because everyone didn't want to wear jeans to pasar malam. Thankfully, I wore my convertible pants, huhu! Zipped the bottom half off, and that's when Leno told me I look better in long pants.

According to him, I look gay wearing shorts. So FINE!!!! Long pants from now onwards. Sigggggghhhhh.

But before that, we made a stop at Times Square to get Benson's birthday present. Recall that we didn't have our long pants on anymore.

SO UNDERDRESSED!!!!!

Still, that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. Tripod in hand, nothing can go wrong laah. Add Christmas deco to that, and naturally, a massive photography session gets triggered.

Did I mention there's a donation well? I mean, what the hell for? It's not like anyone's gonna donate. As far as we're concerned, it's good for three things.

And then, it was straight to Connaught. Bloody rain, as usual, ruining the day.

All I can say is, SRI RAMPAI IS NOWHERE AS LONG AS CONNAUGHT.

Most of the stalls kept repeating themselves, though. Walk 5 minutes, see Uncle Bob's Chicken. Walk for 2 minutes, see another one. And loads more, I tell you. Ate and ate and ate like a hungry pig.

Long story short, went to Fun OK Cafe to celebrate Benson's belated birthday.

Okehh lah. Enough with her.

My verdict? Interior deco was good and comfy. Genius. Really brought out the cafe feeling.

There was a table where you actually sat on toilet bowls (!!). Weird and interesting idea.

And... shoes off.

I dunno. It's always a good and bad thing. I enjoy the feeling of a homey cafe barefoot. If only all our shoes didn't make the area smell of shoes. *grin*

Food was good, and cheap! A complete meal, drinks included, for a small price of 7.50! Don't you just looooooove places with no government tax? I know I do!

After looking at everyone else's order, it seemed to Victson here that butter chicken rice was gonna be good. Manatau when the order came, there was like only... 4 tiny pieces of chicken?

Pfft. CON!!!!

Me, on the other hand, made the right choice with chicken chop noodles.

Overall, it's an owh-kay place to go to if you're looking for a cafe laah. We shall go there again, period.

Err... cut off for a bit. My posts are getting boring! This. Is. An. Emergency.

Back to the birthday. Kok Hoe and his gang got Benson a cake, and the little present from Times Square? Yeah.

#1. 25.11.09 - Delifrance, getting almost lost in KL, CCY's birthday, and Kenny Rogers' vouchers.

#2. 03.12.09 - Kenny Roger's smackdown. Confused waiters, gossiping about aeroplanes, and ahh shit. Can't remember anymore. Shit shit shit.

#3. 05.12.09 - College's alumni dinner. Errrrrr..... that's where the Materials spirit was found? *cough*. Food was not as special as I thought, and the cake made me stone in silence for a few seconds. Also discovered I'm not a big fan of yum sengs.

#4. 10.12.09 - English presentations. Early preparation in McD's, had Purposely Burger for the first time, and how can anyone not love it? First bite was culinary heaven. I hate teachers that show favouritism. Even if the favorite one, is me.

#5. 11.12.09 - Lay in bed thinking to myself, is hiding it all inside gonna do any good? 10 minutes passed, and I spilt half the glass.

A Date To Remember. - 24.11.09

Yet another backdated post, this one about the day Mervin til"leon Lindaeus turned 18. Yahooo!!!

It all started with a wish for Starbucks, and then Roslyn's supercool piece of paper. Voucher: Get a second drink free with every purchase of something (or something like that, I can't recall). And so we did the math, and figured that we could each get Starbucks (repeat, STARBUCKS) for a meager 7 bucks! Pun unintended.

No thinking required, we immediately made plans. Greedy Malaysian mindsets, I know. :P

Yeah, her. The original plan was to go on her birthday, but when assignments shake their heads, it's a no. Met her outside her block, and we were both carrying backpacks. Great minds think alike, they do.

Confession here. I know practically zilch about Starbucks. Naturally, that enticed the 8-year old out of me.

Stoned at the menu because I didn't know what to order.

Stared at the words Venti and Grande.

Jumped around with my camera.

Acted like I didn't know what those sweet, white crystals in the bottle labelled "Sugar" were.

Almost spilled the drinks.

DID spill the cinnamon powder.

Wrong choice, though. For a first time at Starbucks, it sucked. Too milky, and the caramel was too little to be significant! Roslyn's Mocha Chip Frapp was much much better.

Oh well. I'm not giving up on Starbucks yet. I have big plans to try every item on the menu.

Roslyn's laptop accompanied us mainly because she had fat hopes to Sky-pee.,but that failed. Thankfully, there's still a good camera to entertain ourselves, and Starbucks has a couple of Stackers to play. Brought them to the table with a biiiiiig smile, despite Roslyn's "Oh My God..... =.="

Went off somewhat early, and since neither of us were content with having coffee for dinner, the debate was between Nando's or Teppanyaki? Nando's was the cheaper choice if shared, but that's not exactly the case. You'll see.

Cute! The waitress, I mean. No shit, that’s how every waiter and waitress should be. But she must’ve thought I was sick in the head or something, cos’ when I asked if the half chicken meal could be cut into 2 separate quarters, she said:

“Well, actually, a half chicken is 2 quarters.”

Manatau, two quarter meals arrived. EFF!!!! FYI, why I’m so pissed is because sharing a half chicken would be cheaper than 2 separate quarter meals. Dammit, with the amount of money we paid, we could’ve had the Teppanyaki. Ugh.

But alahhh, shit’s been done, and unshitting it would be very inconvenient. All that said, I decided to forget my consumer rights just this once. I’m not usually as merciful as this, okay!

It's.... the 4th of December. Yeah, I've been a bad boy. Haven't been updating properly since I'm in the middle of the assignment season. Hence, I'll be backdating quite a few posts.

Speaking of work, I've only got 25 minutes to blog, or I'll be late for class, eek.

2 hours in a van with friends is boring. Fun, but still boring. So you can imagine my boredom if those friends were sleepy. =.=

Last Monday was two birthday celebrations at Kuala Selangor with the coursemates. At least, I think it was? But before that, a van and a Waja made a random detour to Monkey Hill to monkey around first. =P

Holeeeeee shitt, I tell you, the moment I got out of the van, this strong smell of monkey crap pierced my nose. But okay laah, over time, you kinda get used to the smell and... yeah. *whispers* Though I have no idea how on earth I could get used to the smell of shit, blergh.

Oh, here's something I learnt. Whoever says monkeys are cute deserves a biiiiiiiiiiig slap.

Our long ago ancestors, yeah, right. BUT, I think we did manage to inherit something out of these fuggly things.

Kinda reminds me of Malaysians and the fried chicken wings at the satay lok lok, haha.

Scratch that. I meant TWO inheritances. Mohawks!

Comparable to Leno, obvious reasons why. =D And then it was time for the good ol' hill photography.

This one made Hazel (formerly known as Penas) go "Wahlao!". Don't deny it, I REMEMBER CLEARLY OKAY.

Evidently, I was the kiddie photographer. Running up and down the hill, setting the self timer, SNAP!, check photo, rinse and repeat.

This one, scraped my knee, bonked my head on the bloody cannon.

And climbing up and down needed my hands to grab on the ledge, which stank of monkey doo-doo. Guess what? No basins! DIE.

Somebody said I look like a pervert in this picture? I don't recall.

Okay. 15 minutes left. MOVING ON.

Drove drove drove with my stinking hands all the way to the riverside restaurants and immediately ran for water. Oh the relief, huhu. Took two tables (one for the non-prawn eaters) and nom nom nom nom nom.

And did you know la liu ha are cute? Was so tempted to get a video of them swimming backwards and stuff.

Pity they turn into this.

I was one happy boy, I'm sure you can tell. However, made the stupid decision to wear a white shirt that day.

Personal note: Whenever crabs are concerned, it's gonna get messy.

Food was beyond cheap. 300 bucks for lotsa rice, 14 dishes including 4kg of crabs, and unlimited tea. Despite stinking hands, dirty shirts, and a terrible headbonk, I have no regrets.

On with the pasar malam.

Nothing much, except for the accessory stall. Seriously, they're damn cheap, even with the immense petrol fee. Those normal stuff in Sg Wang that usually cost 30 bucks? Yeah, they only cost 10 bucks here. Get my point?

TOO FRIGGIN CHEAP.

CCY bought my birthday present, and I bought his! T'was a secret birthday gifting system though. Buddy, don't blab ah.

Ok ok I'm typing so fast I'm starting to shake. Maybe it's a lack of coffee.

All this was followed with the hesitative firefly sightings. Debated whether it was worth the 15 bucks for 30 minutes of fireflies, but... EXPERIENCE COMES FIRST! Everyone was in.

Food Turns To Lumps Of Shit Anyway. - 22.11.09

Okay, very brief update. I sense some heavy workload coming up.

It's been a stressful and angry weekend for me. It all started with my hopeless phone. Couldn't call anyone even when it was repaired! Naturally, that caused me to enter berserk mode, fullstop.

Then, to have an early celebration for me, me and my family made plans to eat Western at Lookout Point, but... the rain just had to come spoil my plans, AGAIN. Ugh, just don't rain can or not? Geez, who cares about the people in Africa, goddamit it?!

This led to some last minute stress, digging through discount books, and searching on websites. Straight to the point, T.G.I. Friday's at Pyramid was the spontaneous decision for the night. And during the journey there, people don't usually control the words coming out of their mouth, and so, words cannot describe how mad I was at that time.

It's what I call my version of PMS, I suppose?

Oh, you just gotta love the new promotion. 30 bucks for a set of 2 dishes, and man, IT WAS WORTH IT. The appetizer managed to make me full even before the main course got there. *bloat*

Okay laah, at least I got half of a point on my wishlist. TGI Friday's, but with family! I was hoping for friends, but it's alright. Food was good, all was well. Since it's my parents we're talking about here, it makes everything more err... formal? =P

*laughs* Maybe I spoke too soon.

Cadbury had some fair, too. Dark chocolate samples galore! How can some people not love dark chocolate, I have no idea.

Games! Kept taking the shooting one mainly cos' I'm still in love with Left 4 Dead 2. huhu

I'm good at it, okay!!! Flirted with the girl who was coordinating the game, too. Yeehah, I rock.

Went home for DVD night after that.

It came out like ages ago, but I like DVD's better, so?

The Proposal is good!!! A well deserved 8/10. Sandra Bullock plays the cold hearted bitch boss with killer high heels (she gets into trouble because of them quite often), and Ryan Reynolds is your everyday guy who can be just as bitchy as her. Sarcasm, touching sidelines and funny shit scenes kept me glued in my seat for that hour and a half.

Okay, another super-saturated-picture-post. (Don't ask me wth this's supposed to mean)

Thursday was a very weird day. 2 of our teachers were absent, and that translates to 2 lessons cancelled. Well, we didn't plan for any of this, and so we had quite a lot of free time on our hands.

The fun started with a camera phone and three people. Toss in a good digital camera, and you get the whole class joining in. Hahah, weird, random times.

Leno was innocent, I swear. Wrong action at the wrong time, haha.

Then, we decided to try our hand at jumping shots. Now, to be honest, I haven't really got the hang of my camera yet. Still facing probs when tweaking adjustments. Moving objects come out REALLY blur, but I point blank refuse to use the flash! Facial oil, wrinkles, and pallid skin tones, 'nuff said.

Our first attempts were hillarious. Here're some of our failures. =)

But after many stupid tries and leg cramps, I figured the settings out! SAVED. Samson showed us how it's done.

Okay. 1 more hour to waste. Went to the ICT Showcase the college was doing. Well, let's get 2 things straight:

#1. There was absolutely nothing to do at the boring function! Eveything ICT there just stumped us, totally. There's a reason us 21 people aren't in a computer related course, okay.

#2. We still hadn't recovered from the camwhore fever.

#3. We only went there for 3 ulterior motives: Free coffee sampling, the air-con, and more photos. Don't give us the weird look, please? LMAO.

Our seats were quite secluded. Behind the billboards or whatever you call them. Naturally, privacy and thick skin led us all to take pictures of love for our assignment 'Feelings'.

Heeehlll no, I'm just kidding. We just like experiencing homosexuality. Can't you tell? (Don't kill me, ya'll!)

Of Fun Fillings And Failed Plans. - 20.11.09

I'm actually busy. And when I say busy, I mean REAL busy. But since Say Er's been rushing me to get this post done for the past few days, okay okay, I'll update. Just for you laah, hm?

So as promised, my Saturday night for you all.

It was a biiiiiiit of a letdown. Happening, but still a letdown. Hence the post title.

After the dreaded Thermo test (which turned out to be perversely easy btw), we invaded Times Square to catch 2012. The original idea was to take a bus and go through all the public transport switching, but somebody brought a van. Whoooopeee.

Threw Jennie in the front seat. No surprises there! Um..... the silence between them was awkward, and to make matters worse, continuous. @.@

Thankfully, there was little traffic, and so it was the fast and laughable ride. At least, it was for the rest. Saved by... the traffic lights? Ahaha.

All this was followed with a beeline straight to the cinema. Reached the cinema at 1, and as luck would've had it...

Jor!!!! And as if that wasn't enough, all seats until 5 were fully booked. Dunnnn dunnnn duuuunnnnnn!

And that's how our main plans were destroyed. Plan A was officially screwed. And the best part? We didn't have a plan B. Dying, Dying, DIED.

Okay, before I proceed, you must be thinking why the hell didn't I book tickets earlier?

I hate you, GSC. I hate you, and your stupid phone reservation service. Called from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at regular intervals, but still couldn't book ONE ticket. Kept hearing messages like "Sorry, there has been a connection error, please try again later bla bla bla" or "There is no movie for the date you have selected, da da da".

Their website wasn't helping matters, too.

McD's was the obvious and very spontaneous decision, after debating on KFC, pizza, Burger King. Cheap, and light! Ugh, indecisive people. We planned on starving ourselves for dinner.

I learnt something that day. Whenever you wanna go shopping, never get boys as company. Except me. I'm special. I heeehhhllll digg shopping. XD

Ah, screw this shit. With a limited budget and an ungodly amount of time before our second plan, we proceeded to roam the two most lala-infested floors. It was fun. No sarcasm there. Talked, went girl-seeing (I'm still not a pervert), and giggled madly behind cosplaying idiotas to pass time.

I now know how normal I am. Ugh, seriously, Miss Thailand, GET. A. LIFE.

Dropped by Station Kopitiam for some cheapo (RM0.99!!!) teh tarik. Too sweet! Yuck. And that cursed drink gave us all stomachaches. Groan. Toilet time for 6 people.

Said goodbye to CCY, and then it was time for dinner: Satay lok lok @ GK. Left early to brave the crowded roads of KL, and also because we had a reservation spot on 7.

T'was a table for 13, 3.5 hours of eating and camwhoring, a narrow, but satisfying range of food, and a totally new experience. Naturally, it was one hell of a photography session. Satay sauce was way too oily, but everything was goooooood.

Indeed, the chicken wings were so nice, it was like you had to fight for them. There was this time the tray arrived outside, and people from each table IMMEDIATELY began swarming around. The rule was clear: Grab a fork, and swordfight your way in like the hungry person you are. Managed to emerge from the war with 4 tastilicious wings, and many many oil ~~marks~~ slashes on my hands, tsk. Victory!!! haha

Despite being completely starved, I didn't feel as full as I usually would. I ate so much, I think I've gained 2kg right there. Greeeeeedy.

Evidently, healthy eating and me will always be bullcrap. *nom nom nom nom nom*

You should've seen my joyful tummy after the meal. Getting fat already! Lol bakal Boomer sial. (burp!)

So yeeeeap. I AM OFFICIALLY A LOK LOK FANATIC. Sentence is even in bold caps to prove my love for it.

Somewhere along the lines, some of us made plans to try watching 2012 again, this time during midnight. Long story short and lack of planning led to everything falling apart. Hate going through this kinda shit; the suspense and the letdowns, arrgh.

So that makes the tally 3-1, with failed plans in the lead. This is no fun at all, period.

Yesterday was a very random day. In the middle of being gay during Thermo, Peggy suggested we go to Sri Rampai's pasar malam despite the rain. Well, idea accepted.

So after the 1.5 hour wait for the bus, it was time. K, makan!!!! I love spontaneity!

Haven't been there for a dead 3 months now. Hello stuffy crowds and wet roads, wheeeeeee. =.= But then again, pasar malam isn't exactly Times Square, so yeah.

Everyone ordered some variation of the underrated char koay teow. Yummy! Haven't had one like that since Penang.

Oh, and the waitress annoyed 7 kinds of shit outta me. The orders and payment were so screwed she just spoilt my mood there and then, ugh.

Hotel Management and Process Management, epic PHAIL. 'Nuff said.

Eh eh. Along the way, I caught a whiff of the famous smelly tofu, or chao tao foo in Cantonese. I know my Canto sucks, but it's my blog. Kick me.

ANYWAY, I didn't know they'd smell like..... THAT. So gross la! Shit I swear the smell got so strong towards the stall (obviously), so while the girls searched for healthy juices, I wanted to make a U-turn outta there but Mervin is not a coward!

Hence, I managed to grow the balls to take a bite. =S Three words. It. Was. DELICIOUS!

Surprising, no? Tasted like garbage or something rotten, but if you'd seen me there, you would've been decieved into thinking I was some smelly tofu veteran. I officially like stinky foodstuff now, wow.

Don't look at me weirdly, okay. It's just the same as durians, only excpet I've loved the so-called smelly fruit all my life. Conclusion: Looks are not the only things that're deceiving. =P

So after a lot of screaming, laughing, and looking around, we trekked back to Wangsa, and that's when something bloody bloody stupid happened.

Penas threw in two plasters, and my right ass hurts like heeehhhll!!! Can't even sleep in my usual comfy position anymore. I blame the screwed up rainy weather.

BUT!!! It has been stressful. VERY stressful. P1 W1Max managed to drive me nuts for six times in two weeks lah, geez.

In fact, it was so much to the point that on one time, I unlocked my hostel room door, slammed it hard, and screamed "FUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!" before realizing my roomie was inside. Ooops. The word was long and draggy, too.

One random afternoon, I was in high spirits. Waited for the elevator, and the moment the door opened, I greeted the three or four people in there with a big "HI!" with a huge smile (:D) plastered on my face.

Wrong move.

Who'd know their reactions would be so unfriendly?! Dammit, they were looking at me as though I'd just escaped some mental facility. Turned away in shame, and I could've sworn their eyes were drilling into the back of my head.

Was I really so insane? God knows.

Obviously, desperate times call for desperate measures. Was supposed to stop at the 8th floor, but I took the stairs at the 3rd(!!) to avoid further embarrassment, the noob that is me, tsk.

From now onwards, I vow to listen to mummy's advice : Do not ~~talk to~~ greet strangers. Go die.

It's really sad when friends drift apart. It's inevitable. Friends will, sooner or later, walk on different directions. And some prematurely walk too far off till you can't see them anymore.

I know it's unavoidable. But I just can't help feeling shot when I bump or look at photos of them and we're like random strangers, when they used to be such a big part of my life (at least, they were for two weeks).

You get it, don't you?

I do believe that some bonds can never be truly broken, if those friends are worth spending some time to preserve it. The optimist in me says so.

The question is..... are they worth it?

I sometimes think if it was my fault. For not being as great as him, for not being as perky as her, and for not being plain myself.

I never wanted it to end this way. But they don't seem to bother.

Is it me, or is EVERYTHING suddenly so happening? Friends, studies, teachers that piss me off (in good and bad ways), and every other whatnot. Ahhhh, I'm not complaining.

BUT!!!!! I do wanna complain bout this sem's timetable. Screw it! Too many bloody breaks! (pun intended) 2 hours, 2.5 hours, and some even extend to 3! Thankfully, our college is near TBR. *ahem ahem*

3 bucks worth of evil fun, so how can we not?

You'll never see me in a more sadistic mood. Planning strategies and proceeding to strangle, tear or vomit on humans is just so epic!

And according to Ding, he's never seen me not being me. Perhaps I've got a split personality? One more bent on being evil?

Hoho. The mind boggles!

=.= My mom thinks I'm going crazy, sigh.

OR.... we just stop by Pak Li's Kopitiam. Okay, I take my word back. PLK is lightyears better than OldTown, period.

On the other hand, guess what? "Stop by" is a wee bit understated. Whenever we're there, we somehow manage to behead 3 hours in no time at all. =) Gossips, laughs, jokes, all-theory-no-practical, bitches, and coffee always completes the day.

Lunch... Saffrons of Suffering. - 24.10.09

Wheeee, I'm back. Continuing from my previous post. I woke up to Yi Hui's mom (right in front of me) telling me to go down for breakfast. To be honest, I was starving, but since I didn't want to look greedy, I waited for at least 2 more people to wake up to start eating.

In the meantime, discovered that watching people sleep is amusing. So twisted!

Thank god we bought too much food. There were extra egg tarts too! Leftovers never tasted so gobsmacking.

After that, all we did was pass time. 2 hours of piano, mahjong, gossip, more Korean flicks, more gay entertainment.

And just like that, it was time to leave. Packed our stuff, crammed 11 people into two cars, and it was off for Kumitha's Deepavali open house. It wasn't pleasant, but at least I could still feel my ass when I got out. :S

I havent' been to a Deepavali open house before. I've been to CNYs, Rayas, Christmases, but no Deepavali. Expected tons of spicy stuff. I think it was the same for most of us anyway, but nevermind that.

Do you know what a kum kum is? I don't, but that didn't stop us from playing around with the stickers.

Now we know how we'll look like if we were Indians.

Strangely, we were very quiet. Like HELL quiet. Or at least, quieter than usual.Didn't crack much jokes, didn't run around whacking each other. Don't look at us weirdly. Polite ma!

Main course was... bittersweet. So tasty, yet so spicy! The best dish was the hottest, phew.

Ate with our hands, where Leno and Jun displayed their pro skills. Downed countless glasses of soft drink, water, and ice. I've no pictures of these moments, though, so you guys just have to envision what happened la, k? Just picture everyone (Samson especially) on fire, and you've got it just about right.

Naturally, I overate again. That was hell to my body.

Sigh. I've got other stuff to do, besides the fact I'm lazy. So fine. Pictures, pictures, pictures.

Oh, Kumithaa's scarf came in of good use, too.

Three Floors of Syiok-ness. - 21.10.09

One big house. Two birthday people. Three couples. A huge feast.

That was how it was last Friday, when we planned to celebrate Yi Hui's and Hong Sin's birthday at her new house, and for a few of us to spend the night at her house.

The initial plan was for me to help the Wangsa people cook up some stuff after the lecture, but since Yi Hui needed help preparing food, me and Peggy layaned.

Anyway, time seemed to creep so slowly in the boring, useless lecture. But when it was all over, woooooah - SALVATION. Jumped into SayEr's bf's car, and reached YiHui's front door at 4. First thing that crossed my mind was...

"Okay. Biiiiiiiig house."

My house is nowhere as giganto as hers! Mind you, I'm the #1 budak bandar in my class, gahh. And the fact that her mom's got incredible taste makes it a ++++++ point.

Anyway, since the others would only be arriving around 7-ish, the three of us were stuck with a gazillion minutes of boredom. Couldn't sleep, was too pumped. Couldn't jump on the bed, they were hard. Couldn't start cooking, or the fried stuff would turn mushy.

So while Yi Hui slept and Peggy read, I busied myself with my camera. Here we go =D

Yi Hui, are you absolutely, positively, 100% SURE you don't wanna buy my photos? Hahahha.

So at 6, we started cooking. Lots of frying means lots of hard work. But at the same time, it means more tasting the cooking, if you know what I mean.

FYI, we actually burnt the nuggets to make them crispy, okay. Extra time went into the oil, but to no avail. You'll see why.

We were also afraid that there wouldn't be enough food to feed around 25 mouths, so we stressed for a while on some additional food. Salad? Soup? More meehoon? Majority won, so we made sandwiches. Tuna, which is one of my absolute favs.

Didn't know it would be so easy. Bread, butter, tuna, lettuce, bread.The hardest part was waiting for additional bread to arrive.

The end result was niiiiiice. I like.

See the egg tarts? They're from Tong Kee! Superb. Typing this makes me crave for more egg tarts.

As mentioned, the others would only arrive at 7. While waiting for them, those already there did nothing but eat and eat and eat.

Hence, we were already full even before the party already began. Not that smart a move. That brought death to my waistline, groan.

And everything fried went from crispy to mushy. Broke my heart when I saw that. Still tasted okay though, so all was good.

At 9.30, the others finally arrived, and (to my horror) brought more food. I'm a monster when it comes to food, but I have my limits, okay!!!

I remember this most out of everything else. Sweetened creamer, leong fun, cendol, and longan. The taste? Use your imagination. Let's just leave it at that.

But here's a hint : YiHui's mom told Samson she'll only drink it only if she's totally thirsty. *Gasps*

There was just so much food! Oh my shit. Was so full I could hardly sit up straight. I shall never overestimate my stomach capacity, ever again. Ughh.

BUT!!!! Everyone said the sandwiches were awesome. Success!!!! Victory!!! Or whatever you call it laah. Maybe it's because they weren't there to see how we made the sandwiches, teehee. =P

Good times.

Poor boy wasn't feeling too well that night. Fever, vomiting, chills. But Mangcket Foo's much better now, or so Say Er says.

Anyway, despite my bloated stomach, I felt like being healthy. Do the right thing! Went out for a walk with a few others.

All I can say is... It. Was Quiet. 90% of the houses were still unoccupied, and so there was that lonely feeling. Something I don't experience at Subang. Sometimes it just feels good to take a break from all that crap noise and pollution on the streets.

Us sesat people terrorized the playground, too. Ridiculed the see-saws, almost broke the swings, and made untypable sounds. *ugh ugh* From afar, the playground was alive with the laughter of 5-year-olds. Laugh all you want, we're all little kids deep inside, no?

Went back with just enough time for some rest, drying off (we were sweaty, hm) and cake cutting! Wheee. Sang three versions of the birthday song. I believe it's one of our traditions now?

Blueberry Chilled Cheese, and Orange Delight, although the stupid cake shop messed up my order, sheesh.

No prizes for guessing which cake was better, hee. Then, picture time! Okay, funny awkward moments.

That's her mom in the middle. Thanks aunty, for the tasty chow mein, for being such a great host, and for letting us vandalize your house. XP

Just realized that boys really DO come from different dimensions than girls. Obvious ~~reasons~~ photos why.

Rest of the day was duller, but still happening la. All I did was play cho dai di. No money gambling, but... I got slaughtered. Didn't win a single round! I should really play more, sighh. A Korean por-nedy (go figure) was thrown in, too.

T'was very tiring. Crashing on her mattress never felt better. But seeing that many big, neverending smiles made it all worth it.

Shall continue this post another time, cos' this one's so long it's not even funny!

Well, results from last sem's exams are out. 1A, 4A-, 1B+.

I know they're not too shabby, but somehow, I feel I did better than that. I remember smiling confidently when I walked out the exam hall. The rest is a stupid blur.

But I really think I did better okay!!!

Ahhh... I guess I've learnt not to expect too much, right? And not to be a perfectionist, too. So screw that, yeah.

But then again, my teacher just HAD to tell me that I was just 1(!!) mark away from scraping another A. That managed to piss the bejeesus out of me. How can you sleep easy after knowing that?!

I'm gonna be hating the number 'ONE' for a looooooong time.

I have quite a couple of things to post, but I'm gonna budge all of that aside for now, because I want to make a post about an asshole. Just for him. No names though. Just a vague gist of what's up, nothing more.

So, this asshole. Yeap.

It's been almost a year since I threw him out of my life, but due to some unfortunate circumstances, I have to deal with him again, sigh.

And it's really something to know that after all he's been through with his own friends, he still hasn't changed ONE BIT. Insensitive, inconsiderate, and blunt. I kinda saw this coming, but alaah.

Dial A for ASSHOLE, indeed.

So after 9 months of being away, this asshole decides to announce his return by publicly insulting me, even when he KNOWS thats exactly what ticks me off.

Fine, I let that slip.

But... hey, asshole. You have no right to say I don't do anything, when you don't know what I'm doing. Neither do you pass the buck to someone else the moment you walk into the meeting room, when it's your duty to do it.

If you're just up for the title and certificate, just say so. After all, even the people close to you say they don't trust you. Sounds nice, doesn't it?

In retrospect, things wouldn't have been so screwed up with the 3 girls if only I'd given up on you earlier on. But I was naive. I believed in you. I looked up to you. And to think I wanted to BE you, ugh.

I'm over that sort of stupidity, pfft.

For those who stood up for me, defended me when I wasn't there, thank you. I is grateful.

I don't usually write hate posts. For one, I suck at it. Too childish, even for someone like me. But this time, I'm so pissed I just have to express it.

So I'm gonna scream it here on the WorldWideWeb because the asshole doesn't read my blog anyway. At least, I think he doesn't.

When Pigs Go Crazy.

What do we do when there's a two and a half hour break, and suddenly english lessons get called off, adding yet ANOTHER break hour?

Watch a movie, what else?

After Say Er went coocoo over Sorority Row screaming it was a must-watch, me, Yi Hui, Sam and Jeremy decided to make a run for KLCC to catch it, with lessons resuming at 2 o'clock. But ugh, GSC just had to place Sorority Row AT 2 o'clock.

Arrggggh.

But but but.... we are not people who go home empty handed and so we switched over to plan B : PICK RANDOM MOVIE.

Ended up with some Korean horror named Chaw.

For the record, I was, and am not a big fan of movies in any other language besides Chinese and English, so I was a little skeptical when I sat down.

The wild mutated beast that kills, and no kidding; That's what the entire movie's about. Some wild pig grew to be larger than Pumbaa from the Lion King, and starts eating people up.

THAT. IS. ALL.

The animation of Pumbaa's grandson wasn't that real, and every second in the movie felt so fake. But still okay laah.

The comedy and pain scenes did manage to piss me off, though. Childish, and a bit too try hard at times. The calafares are just fuggly faces on the screen in need of acting lessons, mainly because they can't act for nuts. Wanted to stab each one of them in their guts, gahh.

Oh, the ending? Shit stupid, something involving Photoshop's bloat or pucker tool. I'm knocking two points off for that. Take that, Korea. =P

But DO watch out for tha part when two cops piss together at the roadside, or when they set the lead actor's ass on fire with gunpowder. Take my word for it, they'll leave you stupefied, giggling and whispering "WTF?!?"

So ok. For my first Korean flick..... 5.5/10?

Still watchable, okay!!!

Blergh. Maybe I'm just too fussy when it comes to movies.

Or.... maybe I'm just looking for reasons to stick to English movies. XD

Went back half an hour late for class. Whoops!

Personal note: Bring sweater to movies. I learnt that very cold lesson that day, seeing as my butt nearly turned to ice.

Sushi King's RM2 Promotion @ KLCC

Wednesdays are not one of my busiest days, and so I made big plans to storm Sushi King's 2 dollar promotion. Hm, it was a while since I last had sushi.

Good ones, mind you. Not those cheap things you get from Carrefour or Giant.

Sadly, only a maximum of 6 people are allowed per table, and that's IF you even have the membership card. Thank you, CCY. Couldn't have done it without you (and your card, of course).

So, the initial plan was for 5 people to go. Somehow, we managed to entice5 other people into coming along. I guess the more the merrier. Wheee. Was so happy thinking of all the salmon and scallops I was gonna swallow whole. Still had to split into separate groups though, tsk.

Arrived there around 4-ish, and even then, there was a queue! Glanced into the shop and it was full. All greedy little humans.

I'm evil, I know. What're you gonna do? Hahhah!

Thankfully, we didn't have to wait long. Only 10 minutes, phew.

Caught a sight of something that wrung a bit of a heartache before that. Felt so emo, but hey! Nothing's stopping me from enjoying my sushi with full pig-headedness, okay. Seeing the kaiten belt cheered me up. =)

So officially, LET THE EATING BEGIN!!!

I don't know about healthy, but heehhhhlll, you bet it's good. Even then, 'good' is an understatement.

I swear to God, we (more like I) didn't stop taking anything!!! Half raw scallops, prawn eggs and salmon kept appearing on our table like magic. And within 20 minutes, us being us, we finished 30 plates. Wooooot!

Sadly, I really regretted gobbling everything so quickly. Seating time per table is 1 hour (that's what happens when everyone enters Malaysiakiasu mode), and so we had many minutes of greent tea to kill.

Also, new types of sushi appeared on the belt right after we decided to stop, freak. Forgive me, fried scallop sushi. Nana kimi hotade.

And since neither group was sitting near the belt, we had to literally walk over and take.

Can you imagine? Felt so impolite, but I don't care. It's a 2-ringgit-per-plate-of-rice-based-sushi promotion.

GRAB.

Don't mind me. :D

Did I mention the other group actually waited for the purple plate? Determination and perseverance always pays off, right? After 20 minutes of waiting, they walked back with tempura prawns, dammit.

Sigh, those sad children.

Nope, *denying* I'm not jealous, ah, nope. =P

Oh, and Nitsume. I have no idea what you are, but ooooh, you're so good.

Tastes like soy sauce, but it's not. Tastes like caramel, but it's not. Tastes like both mixed together, but it's not! Dunno la, it's just.... NICE!!!!

What an experience, seriously!!! 69 bucks for a totally hearty meal. Everything was fresh, tasted good, and the feeling of taking as much as you can will always be awesome. Happy stomachs, though mine felt like bursting anytime.

I'll be there at the next promotion season. CCY, book a space on your card for me. If not, I'm not your friend anymore. Hah!

To end this post, I'll do a bit of promoting, since I feel like it.

It Only Lasts For A Little While.

Yours truly is not feeling himself today because of emotional turbulences. I've never really felt this way in secondary school. It's a new feeling.

Loss? Regret? Fear, perhaps?

Knowing that in a blink of an eye (and seriously, I mean it more than ever), it's all over. Some of us'll be walking a separate way, and the remainder would have a little more borrowed time to spend together.

But in the end, it all boils down to the same thing : We WILL, sooner or later, say the dreaded goodbye.

Back then, I thought the saying "College is the best time of your life" was utter bullshit. It's only now that I realize how stupid I was.

Hahah, I love you nutcases. The love-hate thing, the yelling, laughing, homosexuality, behaving like the donkeys we are... I love them, and will always do. Cos' in the end, all that's left would be these memories.

I hate goodbyes, but as much as I dislike them, we can't avoid them. I'm still trying to come to terms with that, but I don't think I'll ever make it in time.

I don't think I even want to. I'm in denial.

And yet, am I really found?

Or still lost somewhere in the middle?

Shibi's 48 Hour Birthday.

May not look like it, but everyone of us were posing from one to eleven. Ryan, that's not how you do ten, freak.

So last Tuesday, eleven of us headed down to GK to celebrate the birthday of one of the whacky ones, Shibi @ Shibi-dibidoo!

Happy 18th, girl.

A small tea house for a big celebration. Made noise loud enough to shatter glass.

But okay. Jokes aside, Cannes really had a homey charm. Very kiddy too, you'll see why later.

Waited for Dongbell for around 40 minutes(!!), cos' she had to shower. Girls and long showers, I will never understand, sigh.

BUT!!! You don't expect us to do nothing while we were waiting for her, right?

Nonetheless, EVERYONE ordered the set meals, and cheap they were! Good sized servings, good food, and a ood environment were the perfect ingredients to a great birthday celebration.

Alahh, since I'm feeling a tad lazy right now, I'll just let the pictures do most of the talking from this point on.

Pork chop fried rice was goood. Could've used more rice though. It really didn't fill me up.

I should really try shrinking my stomach storage, tsk.

And what meal would be complete without dessert? Thankfully, the set meal included a frosty one.

Obviously, I had to fight for the yam flavored one. Don't look at me weirdly. It's the shops' fault for not asking us what flavor we wanted. X(

But then again, the set meal didn't exactly fill everyone too. Ordered some sausage bun slices. Mix that together with some creative minds and a pinch of curiosity, and voila. Can't escape reality, can we?

Sure as hell will mix that again. Ice-cream and hot sausage buns make such a lovely combination!!!

Finished eating at around 8. Since none of us wanted to go home so early, we decided to revisit an old, oooooold game.

I haven't played that game since God knows when, no shit! Brings back so much memories. *sob*

Nostalgic much? INDEED.

Anyway, it's a building. Shouldn't be too hard of a problem for an entire SOT group, right?

Well, we still managed to maintain the building for one whole round (and there were 11 of us, remember), before it came crashing down at the hands of Kampar.

And that's when things just got crazier.

So here's the bump.

The new semester of college starts tomorrow. Hello, stress. HELLO, assignments!! =.=

I'll be going back to the hostel tonight, where Maxis Broadband and my computer will again torture me nuts. Which means no blogging until the damned weekends, grr.

Haven't even got the timetable, and it's all thanks to the lame ass TAR College website.

There's something coming up. Something about this sem. I can sense that much. Not sure if it's superbly hard subjects, or the 8am and 9am classes.

On the other hand, could be more time to go out and have fun.

Gahh, it's killing me. Anyway, just a short post to announce that I'll still be alive even after college starts.

I PASSED MY UNDANG TEST!!!

Didn't know it would be so easy. Took only 9 minutes to do the whole thing. The only hard part was keeping myself from screaming like the moron I am in the exam hall.

And now that I've officially gotten over it, I can't help but think that EVERYONE can pass! Honestly don't know why I got so freaked out, but never mind that.

Did I mention I had to get my photo taken? The itsy bitsy passport sized ones?

I HATE these kind of photos! 12 bucks, yes. Straight on shot, yes. Flash, yes. Ugly, HELL YES. I think all passport photo studios are jinxed the moment I walk in.

But oh well, at least it's better than my IC, which I point blank refuse to show anyone for obvious reasons.

Besides, it's getting that license that counts, not the face, right?

2. Bubbly!!!

Okay. Before I carry on, guess what's this photo, and where it was.

Gobsmacking. It's foam.

What? At least it's um... outstanding? Yeah. That's the word.

Yay me!!!! *ahem*

Not only that, the foam they used was strangely blue. So predictably, i just whipped out my camera and started shooting.

FYI, I've never actually seen blue foam before, jakun that I am.

Am quite happy with these, though I admittedly would be happier if the car wash dudes had not washed the foam off so quickly, grrrr.

3. Yuet Peng.

Have been eating a lot of mooncake lately.

Now I know where my round face is coming from. Feel so unhealthy, baah. XD

Just realized I haven't eaten a single snow skin mooncake this year. I won't rest till I've had one!!!! YOU WHO'S READING THIS, BELANJA ME ONE. Hmph.

And for the record, those ARE mooncakes. In a more innovative, modern, smaller, buttery, yummier method, that's all.

4. Holidays? Nope.

After months of laziness and procrastination, I finally decided that it's time I got my driver's license! Naturally, the first step is boring old Undang.

I swear to God, enduring a 5 hour lecture on driving law is shit sooooo boring!!!! Me and a friend could've seriously died of boredom there.

And if that wasn't all, my few years of being separated from BM took it's toll here. Listening to the teacher blabbing about in Malay was simply death to my ears. Arrrgghh, didn't understand one bit of it!

So grateful I'm not a lawyer.

Did I mention we actually studied in a container? No, for real. A cargo container. Saw how ulu and kampung? Absolutely did not see that coming.

Have got to start studying. The exam's this Friday!!! Gasps. *horror*

Finished my exams and on holiday also have to study. WHAT IS THIS?!?!?!?!?!?!

5. More randomness!!!!

Just discovered that I have some pathological need to cook when I'm bored.

Three words. Putting aside the stressful shredding and one slit on my finger....

It. Was. ORGASMIC.

However, I shall never make this dish again. The fact that the oil splatters about during frying makes it a big no-no. Veeeery bad for my skin. X( So goodbye, crispy kai lan.

6. Shoes are a Mervin's best friend.

And indeed they are!!! Made my first apparel purchase in God-knows-how-long.

They're actually branded, no shit. Playaz, yo!!! And at a really good price, too. 40 bucks only. My happy feet.

Hello people. I know I said I was gonna take a break till the 18th. I know, oh, I know.

And I also know that it's now the 28th, and 28 minus 10 equals to, I know, 10 days without updates. Clingy shit.

I know.

Okay laah, I'll tell you why. Holidays have just been so boring, in a ~~bad~~ terrible kinda way. Bloody bloody unproductive, ugh. And believe me, productiveness is of utmost importance for me. *yadadaaa-dada-deedum*.

All I can say is, I'm the sad soul who's trapped at home, while everyone's out there having fun. Didn't even work, can you believe that?

I mean, it's like during exams, I have too much to study that I don't have enough time to shit. And now, it's like I have too much time that I don't have enough shit to shit.

Owh.....kay, let's just leave it at that.

Here's a recap for everything from the 18th, then. Think I'll split it into several posts before my new semester starts. Warning though. It's gonna be disjointed, obvious reasons why.

1. 18-09-09 Freedom!!!!

After 3 weeks of stressful, sleepless nights of befriending Nescafe, it's finally over!!! And by it, I mean the exams, of course. Even wrote so fast that my finger bled during the last paper, I shit you not. That was just so stressful. I never wanna sit for another Corrosion paper ever.

Hallelujah for it, no?

So hello karaoke at Green Box, Sungei Wang. Went right after the exams, with a bit of loitering back and forth between Times Square and Sg Wang.

Split into two groups, as Cowkid's gang wanted to get something at Low Yat. Lack of planning had our group bamboozled at choosing what's for lunch. Took the lead, but the prices and choices killed me, ugh.

There is just nothing to eat at the all-play-no-eat Times Square!!! Settled for McD's in the end, argh.

Everybody loves McD's and their lunch hour promotions. But not me!!!! Too fattening and unhealthy. Just give me sushi. Or maybe a salad.

And you'd be the 1264897642th person who's told me I don't need to join the weight watchers. I'm stating the obvious, I know.

Met up with the other group, and let the singing begin! Hah. Refillable drinks, snacks, bigbigdark room and some pretty entertaining performances. M-hmmmm, DMT2 can SING!!!

Sadly, there're no group photos!!! Everyone just went off before I even got a chance. And I'm to blame on that. Sighhhh, I absolutely fail at being a photographer. Still feel totally down because of that.

Oh well. Experience, experience.

Can't remember what we did after that. Next thing I knew, we were heading to SS2's Kayu Nasi Kandar for dinner.

5 bucks roti tisu rawks!!! For 6 people sharing, I guess it ain't so bad. Still couldn't finish it, damn.

Went back late at night via the LRT.

Yeah, he really deserved that place that night. Inside joke, so don't worry buddy, I won't blab!!!!

The others headed to CCY and KinWai's house for beer and good times, but Mervin is a good boy who doesn't take alcohol and cigarettes, so just got my stuff at the hostel and went back home. End of day.

Dial GB for Good Boy, hah!

What would I do when my key drops in a toilet bowl at 3 in the morn, travelling to and fro to Wangsa twice just because the assholic locksmith duplicated my key wrongly, get charged twice the amount of money than a regular locksmith, then getting told by a guard to be careful as I seemed to have malang all the time and to avoid getting hit by a car or any accident whatsoever?

Simple.

1st step. Remain calm.

2nd step will be a teensy weensy bit more complicated.
